Highlights
Leyburn Shawl (6 Miles) - Leyburn Shawl is a great vantage point to look down across Wensleydale. This walk starts high on the Shawl before heading down into the village of Wensley and back through sheep filled pastures.
Wensley River Loop (3.5 Miles) - starting in the historic village of Wensley this walk meanders up the side of the River Ure before taking you through the sprawling fields of the Bolton Estate, passing by Bolton Hall.
Aysgarth Falls (3 Miles) - a triple flight of waterfalls, surrounded by woodland, carved out by the River Ure over an almost one-mile stretch.
Penhill (5.5 Miles) - Penhill is a prominent feature located in Wensleydale overlooking this picturesque valley and its traditional stone-built villages below.
Middleham River Loop (3.5 Miles) - Meander past the castle and over the fields before this delightful walk hugs banks of the River Cover (be warned if there’s been a lot of rain you may not be able to cross the stepping stones over the river).
